It's Julaila's Birthday and we need to celebrate and we don't have any idea what to cook or what to prepare before she comes home so we decided to cook Pinoy foods kasi alam naming miss nya na ang kumain ng mga pagkaing pinoy.
I was tasked to cook Pancit Guisado. Oh my Gasul!... I know how to cook pancit - I am referring to Pancit Canton of Lucky Me Noodles which is instant! but with Raw Vermicelli, Vegetables and Chicken? Nooo! Even sa pagtitimpla, wala akong alam. Di narin ako makatanggi with my Pad mates kasi the time when they asked me if I know how to cook, I just said Yes. Yan kasi, nagmamalaki pa, ako tuloy ang napuruhan. They bought all the ingredients, this includes the Carrots, Cabbages, Pea pods, Chicken Liver, Gizzard, Onions, Garlic, Pepper, Vermicelli and etc.
Here comes the cooking! Thank God at nagpahinga ang mga Pad mates ko in their respective rooms so I opened YOUTUBE haha! YouTube I really owe you one. You saved my life! I watched every single step on how to cook the said Pancit Guisado.
I now chopped every vegetables in a long shape including the Chicken meats and let the Vermicelli absorbed the look warm water. Sa tuwing nakakatapos ako ng pag sa-slice, I always look from the kitchen to their room na baka bigla silang lumabas and they will caught me cheating hahaha so I decided to watch the video nalang muna before to continue the cooking. Lucky for me, after kong ma-watched ang video, lumabas sila so with high level of confidence, I now cooked the said Pancit Guisado and guess what? Bilib na bilib sila sakin. Hahaha and the taste? Super Perfect! Here it is!
